The original 9 holes of the Golf de Reims course were designed by Tom Simpson in 1928 on the route taken by the future kings of France to their coronation in the cathedral of Reims. In 1973, Michael Fenn added 9 holes in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, giving birth to a magnificent English-style course. The warm club-house, installed in the Château des Dames de France, former property of the bishops of Reims and then of the Counts of Champagne, offers tasty cuisine to be enjoyed in the restaurant around a large fire or in the summer in the shade of the hundred-year-old plane trees.
