France Entrance Guideline for Travelers!

Dear Friends and Golfers,


France is beginning to open up like most of the world, and we are here to share with you the latest travel regulations for entering France. Your safety is always our priority! Here are a few points to notes before starting your golf vacation in France :


Vaccination


Only visitors with Covid vaccinations from the European Medical Authority (EMA) : Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca et Johnson & Johnson would be allowed to visit. 

Proof of vaccination is mandatory for travelers from certain countries and only valid after the vaccination is completed as stipulated below:


  • 2 weeks after 2nd injection for 2 dose vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca) 
  • 4 weeks after injection for 1 dose vaccines (Johnson & Johnson)  
  • 2 weeks after injection for vaccinated people having had Covid 19 in the past (1 injection only is needed)

Countries are classified according to health indicators. We have a world map showing the French classification of countries valid from 2 June 2021.


Important Notes:

  • Travelers under 11 years of age seem to be exempt from any requirements
  • Travelers from Orange and Red countries can only travel to France if they have pressing grounds for travel. Please find HERE what constitutes pressing grounds. 

Travellers from Green Countries

With a proof of completed vaccination? Congratulations, you are feel free come to play golf in France anytime! Without proof of vaccination? Only a negative PCR (less than 72h) or negative antigenic (less than 48h) proof, then you are free to go!

Travellers from Orange Countries

With a proof of completed vaccination? All you need is to show a negative PCR (less than 72h) or negative antigenic (less than 48h) proof, then you are welcome to play golf in France anytime! Without proof of vaccination? You wil need a negative PCR (less than 72h) or negative antigenic (less than 48h) proof, plus essential motive to enter France to pass the boarder!

Travellers from Red Countries

With a proof of completed vaccination, travelers from red countries need provide essential motive to enter France, proof of a negative PCR (less than 72h) or negative antigenic (less than 48h), and self-isolation of 7 days upon arrival is needed.

Without a proof of completed vaccination, travelers from red countries need provide essential motive to enter France, proof of a negative PCR (less than 72h) or negative antigenic (less than 48h), and self-isolation of 10 days upon arrival is needed.
